Breaking down tank

I have this old 250g that I can’t move. I want to cut the seams. I’d like to keep the glass panels. What is the best way to utility knife the seams and remove the black trim from top and bottom?

Wanting to start cutting soon and I don’t want to break it with a hammer and make a mess

One approach is to use piano wire to separate the seams.
