Breaking in bulbs on dimmable T5s fixtures

So, how are you supposed to break in new bulbs when you replace the old ones? Run the single channel at 100% for 50 hrs?
 
ATI recommends 50 hours at 100%.

I, personally, just run my channels at 100% for the entire photoperiod even after the break-in period. I don't have a link handy, but it's worth noting that using the dimming function on T5 bulbs results in a shorter lifespan.
