hi everyone ,
I've just upgraded from a tank with no sump too one with .. new tank is up and running, and cycled ,set everything over , now I'm breaking down the old tank which had an internal filter with the bio sponges . Blue green and black .... my question is would it be beneficial too put these sponges in my sump , they are well established and have lots of copepods on them , as my old tank was over a year old , would it help with the filtration .. my sump is a simple one 15g, I have some live rock in from my old tank , an oversized skimmer , and a return pump , no refugium , no canisters , no dosing pumps !
