WHy are you going with 4 or 5? I have the almost the same size tank as you...72x28x22.

I'm going to have mine rotated and I want more light to prevent shadowing as much as possible.

I'd keep the rocks and add corals and let them fill in the space!

Actually, that's not a bad idea. I emailed Ecotech about the bowing (they called it deflection). They said it's completely normal. I don't agree, but what am I going to do.

that's their way of saying "everyone complains about it, but one hasn't broken yet" Can you get a piece of aluminum channel and brace it up some more?

No. It really doesn't need it to be honest. Its not going to break.

I didn't mean to stop it from breaking, but the sag would drive me nuts, and you can at least get it straight so it looks good with your tank.

I have added: a deepwater snowbass, a mimic tang and a huge supermale Australian Scott's fairy wrasse. Also added some coral, ty dye jawbreaker mushroom, some acro, a blue raspberry monti and a sick acan frag I scored..not sure of a name.

Five fish so far:
Golden Pygmy Angel
Jumbo Scott's Fairy wrasse
Mimic Tang
Deepwater snow bass
Hooded wrasse. Picked him up a steal of a price...$85!

I am trying to add "rare" or "rarer" fish. I know a mimic isn't. I just picked up a nice redheaded jawfish.

I just was able to score a bonded pair of Fridmani Dottybacks.

Here is the jawfish, the flash washed him out a bit.

As he gets older, the red will become brighter and the body has a hue of teal. They are a very hard fish to come by.

Is it possible to screw a piece of aluminum angle to the back of the light span to keep it from bowing and not show at the same time? Aluminum angle and box is readily available at many hardware stores and painted black they don't show up at all.
