I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about it so I figured I'd make a thread.
I'll be setting up a Red Sea Reefer Nano and if you haven't seen the sump, they do not leave much room for extras.. the large compartment will hold my skimmer but I will have extra room in front of the filter socks as well and I would love to incorporate a refugium somehow..
I had the idea to secure a breeder box inside of this compartment of the sump to have a chaeto refugium.. the water would be forced to flow through the breeder box and chaeto.. and it's a lot cheaper and easier than drilling the Red Sea ATO tank that I've seen others do.
Has anyone done this successfully? did I just think of a new innovative product that I can have made and sell for $99.99??
