Mate for C. interrupta - Reef Central Online Community

Karen is doing some remarkable research in the area of captive breeding. She is a wonderful person and the amount to time she devotes to these projects is almost unimaginable. Multiple feedings per day are required and not to mention the culturing of the live foods. I have been speaking with her since last December when we began shipping our probiotic foods to her for use in her trials. It was pretty awesome to be named in her April 14th Rising Tide blog post as her "first choice" non-live food for the P. veusta project. There are pics in the link below of the developing larvae.

Rising Tide Conservation Updates: Larval Rearing of the Purple Mask Angelfish

Both Karen's blog and the Rising Tide Conservation Project are worth bookmarking and checking in often since she does update it with pics and videos frequently.

This was the last video she posted of what has been affectionately named "blondie." Blondie arrived in the states this week and is settling into my buddies QT system.

Hope your buddy keeps us up to date on Blondie's progress. We have watched her from a wee lass to now would love to see her grow.

Larry, see if you can get him to come visit with us on R2R, we'd love to have his build thread here!
