hi guys i have a pair of clowns , couple of questions

1. if i only have the pair of clowns in the tank do i need to remove the fry or will they be ok
with just the parents ,?

2. will hermit crabs eat the eggs ?
thank you

Crabs are opportunistic feeders and will eat pretty much anything...so yes.
You’ll need to house the eggs and clowns in a different tank. Other inhabitants will make a quick meal out of the fry

I was thinking if moving the crabs to another tank , leaving just the clowns

Any other inhabitants ? Breeding isn’t easy and they need a dedicated tank

Welcome to R2R!!!

If you are trying to get into breeding clowns then you may want to get a copy of Joyce Wilkersons clownfish book. Tons of info about breeding and rearing the fry. Matthew Whittenrich also has a breeding book available. Knowledge is power and it's best to learn from the trials of others.
