Im interested in breeding maroon clownfish and I have a couple Id be interested in pairing, but I want some input on if it’s viable or not before I bother. The two I have are a lightning and a gold spot. Both are maroon clownfish (Premnas biaculeatus), but there is a very obvious color difference. I would really like to see what comes out of breeding them, but is that a viable pair or is the color difference going to keep them from doing that?

The result of those two are what I have from ORA. Gold X Lightning hybrid. Maroons are hard to pair; the female often kills potential mates. If you’re attached to both of yours keep in mind that one may not survive the pairing attempt. Anyways, here’s what some of the offspring could look like. This is my almost 3” female
