Breeding Ocellaris Clownfish

So I got a pair of juvenile ocellaris on March 4th, the first week I had them I believe they established dominance because one would lay on its side and shake. Now they are different sizes so I believe that the one is now female while the other is a male.. I'm not sure if they are ready to start laying eggs or not yet but I figured I would give it a go.. For the next few weeks I'm going to start feeding them about 4 times a day and see if they will start breeding yet. If anyone has any tips or feedback I would love to hear it!

How old are they?

From what I read the female will not start laying until shes 2-3 years old roughly.

The male can fertilize as early as 6 months.

I am still new to breeding myself so take my reply with a grain of salt!

Even if they're sexually mature, which it doesn't appear they are, it'll take at the very least 6-1: months before they lay eggs and very likely longer than that. As what was said above, 2-3yrs old before reaching sexual maturity.

I have no idea, I bought them a month ago as juveniles.. I'll probably just end up buying a bonder pair that are older and try with them while I wait on these to mature

Just keep in mind that even if you buy a sexually mature mated pair of clowns, it'll take at least a few months at min for them to feel safe enough to mate, likely longer. They're terrific fish and what attracted most to the hobby.
