Hi ALL..

I'm looking to build a Clownfish breeding system, and I appreciate advice on setup/plumbing.
Recently I've purchase one custom acrylic breeding tank 4 chambers dimension 48" x 15" x 14"

In the event to add additional 1 more tank to have a total 8 chambers, for a 8 pairs.

Return pump: Currently have a Reeflo Hybrid Snapper/Dart..but if you suggest something else please advice.

Reaching out to you breeders for advice, on how should I plumb this system together. I will have 2 x 10G for the hatch, and 1 20G acrylic for the babies are bigger.
But appreciate any advice, or if you can provide a diagram.
1) What type of lighting should I get?
2) Plumbing: Where recomend to buy the cheapest bulkheads, elbows or any PVC?
3) Will I need a UV? If so explain or show where should I plumb it into the system.
4) Please recommend, what else will I need.

Thank you for your comments.

I use a different shelf system from Lowes. It's the stainless type with rods instead of that bent sheet metal for legs. Is that shelf rated for 1000 lbs per shelf? In my past experience, the shelf you have pictured has way to much give and it will eventually topple.

what I linked appears to be rated for 350 lbs per shelf. I'm almost positive the units I've purchased in the past were rated for closer to 1,000 lbs per shelf so that might not be the exact same product.

hey latin: can you check the box for a shelf weight? or get a brand off the unit?

It appears to be the same units I use. If so, the one I have is 1,000 #s per shelf. And I also use a piece of 3/4" ply on top of the wire shelf.

Looks awesome man. Love the tanks. I'm no help on shelving, I used tall custom wood stands.

Actually I found this rack, picking up this Friday. Galvanized 1500lb max per shelf. Width 60 In., Depth 36 In., Height 72 In.,

looks good

that looks like Erics old equipment. i believe he had a problem with the way it drained or flowed. something about the teeth between the compartments. Im no help on the shelving but if you need help with the plumbing just post the question in my thread.
