55 gallon bow front, all parameters are in check including phosphates and salinity which i previously had a minor problem with. Both fish wrasses doing well and not fighting. My two small conchs and my hermits are doing just fine, along with my emerald crab. Just tonight I noticed a very bright bright orange substance on my sandbed, about 1.5 inches long and .3 inches wide. Right now I have some diatoms on my sandbed but this substance is significantly different. My camera is too crappy to take pics but the way it looks is almost like a montipora without the polyps. It has definable edges and its a very bright orange, almost neon. If anyone has any advice on what this is or how it got there it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

now the orange color is turning a mildly bright yellow, could this just be some kind of secretion from one of my inhabitants?

my camera is awful and cant pick up how small it is, sorry. Well it has turned completely yellow in under and hour and seems to be kind of dissolving away. No idea whats up with this thing but im hoping its nothing to worry about. I worry about everything.
