Well, I’ve started to get a thing for the bright red corals (I’ve always had a small thing for them but it’s just grown).
So, what are your favourites? I’m sure many other people want to see some nice red coloured corals so photos are a must if you have them!

I guess I’ll start off with Chili coral, it’s been the easiest NPS I’ve ever kept and my first piece is still going (albeit 3/4 the size it originally was) 7 years later, so I picked up a larger piece yesterday.

I have one in my fish tank but it has not been opening. What light, current, water parameters are you using? I’m thinking I need to move mine.

My old piece I have is sat under my large yuma rock and still gets a bit of light (It’s only a small nub now though).
This one is sat half under light and half in complete darkness just on the sand, so I’d say they don’t want complete darkness to be open.

Both are under low ish flow but I’d say the larger piece is under more flow as it gets the back flow from the glass. However the piece under my rock doesn’t get much flow at all and only really has flow when the fish swim past it.

My Water Parameters haven’t been tested for a while but I keep slightly dirtier water in this tank as I have mushrooms and leathers. In the sump I also have some large mother Sponges so that may help with how dirty I keep my water.
