I use it, I think its primary function for me has been helping the corals get nitrogen as my system is extremely nitrate limited.
I usually measure .5 nitrates, which is lower then I want. So I dose 8 drops of brightwells coral amino daily in my 85g tital water volume system. However I wad also dosing it when my nitrates were at 12, and would continue to do so unless they got out of control.
It seems to make a difference, a huge difference in conjunction with TM's plus-np/bactobalance/elimi-np carbon dosing system. I use both in conjunction and the benefit is pretty noticeable. I skipped a few days of both and the extension was not as awesome as it usually is.
Edit: I would like to add that I have been trying to determine if coral powedered foods, or ciral aminos help raise nitrates, I haven't been able to observe anything or find answers that are not conflicting.
It is my assumption that aminos assist with nitrogen availability, I do not know for sure that it does.
