Thanks for sharing!! No idea what your talking about??You should throw them out right after washing them...I mean that is what i would do. All they do is leach aluminum into your tank and eventually fall apart. Your milage may vary though
They were having problems with theres covered in algaeI haven't had an icp test done but my tank is fine and I have 8 of them in my sump. I wouldn't rinse them they are doped with sulphur and the instructions on the site say theres no need to rinse. I didn't notice any cloudiness after putting them in and mine are still good after 6 months in the sump well see if they fall apart after a couple years...
Good substance, completely unhelpful delivery my dude. You should throw them out right after washing them...I mean that is what i would do. All they do is leach aluminum into your tank and eventually fall apart. Your milage may vary though

no one is trolling here...sorry if your feeling were hurtI understood completely what you intended to say. Also heard what you didn't intend to. Next time if you don't have anything helpful to add, or can't do it nicely, maybe look over it.
OP didn't post a question about bricks to be trolled.
Right thanks i have a 4 of these in my system for years and the ones with algae are being hit by light!!! dang maybe i will try the filter floss. This is very large Fowler system so i dont need to get water tested professionally!!! ThanksSorry about that I read that wrong can you put them somewhere where they don't get hit by light? I don't have algae on mine but I put filter floss over the top to keep light from hitting them. You can rinse them in tank water but that wont really help with algae.
Do you test for phosphates and nitratesRight thanks i have a 4 of these in my system for years and the ones with algae are being hit by light!!! dang maybe i will try the filter floss. This is very large Fowler system so i dont need to get water tested professionally!!! Thanks
Maybe it scontibuting to algae growing on your bricks than or do you have a fuge light or window close to the bricksMy nitrates are 30-40 but i have alot of large fish that eat alot so thats about normal!! I need a new phosphate kit which is on my to do list.
