Brightwell Neomarine Magnesium Level

What does the magnesium level mix up for other people using this salt? The spec say 1290 ppm. It is always much higher for me my last batch was at 1560 ppm using the Red Sea test kit.

Have you tried an alternate test kit (or your LFS) just to confirm the magnesium results?

Yes. I tried a Nyos and Salifert test and I purchased a refill for the red sea.

I also tried the new Hanna but that was a waste but the first test was close to what I was getting with the Red Sea
