For those of you that have used this product. I am trying to reduce my phosphates to an undetectable level. My tank is 125 gal water valume, the instructions say to add 1ml per 4 gallons of water to drop the po4 1ppm. So this is approximately 31ml of this product to drop my po4 levels 1 ppm. Well I am only wanting to drop from less than .1ppm to 0 so I have divided this total amount by 10. I am dosing 3.1 ml to accomplish this. My question is.... will I get better results if I dose in front of the skimmer intake or in my filter sock? If dosing in front of my skimmer intake will this ensure that most of the lanthium chloride is removed from the tank or will some still escape the skimmer output?

Dump it in the filter sock itself. It will start collecting immediately. Its kinda tough to say which is better, as I've done the skimmer, but I've dumped it right into the skimmer body itself, your water will still cloud up, but don't worry, it will clear itself in a few hours, once clear then test again. Oh, and try using SeaKlear next time. Alot less in cost, and it will go a long long way. Its meant for pools, but is reef safe. I use it.
