Hello Reefer,

I hope all is well. I have a quick question. I dosed half of the recommended dose of Brightwell phosphate-e (as per phos calculator) to my tank yesterday and the phosphate went from 0.9 to 0.64. Everything seems fine no affect on anything. Is that too much of a change. Should I wait a few days for corals to adjust to the new phos level before bring it the phos down by another 3ppm?

Alk went from 11.2 to 11 dkh, hardly any drop. Nitrate are still above 75ppm as per Hanna. Which maybe the reason why corals are not being affect by the 3ppm drop in phos. Let me know what y’all think?

Is that because of the feeding etc, or the way the lanthanum works?

Because phosphate may desorb off of rock and sand to reach a new equilibrium. Yes, also, on feeding, but that's not the effect I meant.
