So I’ve been using red seas ABC liquid since I started my tanks up. Was thinking of which one of these to go with, powder versions are cool I don’t mind them.

Reef code almost seems so cheap that I may not even need the powder though. Any opinions leave them here I’m open, I want a cheaper way of dosing.

Reef code catches my eye because it has trace elements. I’ll just buy some Red Sea C or something for magnesium as reef code is only A and B

All for reef is just cool

If you only dosing 2-part…it pick something that has some light trace element’s like ESV.

Ah okay, idk the difference in them exactly. I’m adding a sump and a refugium now so I would like to add the trace elements absorbed by the chaeto, it’s why I think it’s cool. So the trace elements in Esv is better than reef code?

Just googled it. I believe my dad would use that same one back when I was a little kid

It’s tried and true. You don’t want trace’s too heavy as they will likely drift out of the target range over time and cause issues.

You could always dose Cheato Grow too.

I don’t like the all in additives personally, if I were to pick one it would depend on what coral I’m keeping. ESV is my go to but if a smaller tank with lower demand I’ve had good success with all for reef.

I used the triton method and my traces were all over the place. I follow the same method as @Reefahholic now but I also use ESV Bionic, ICP comes back just about green every month other than iodine

I’ve never sent an ipc, I only keep lps and anenomes too. 40g breeder with a 10g sump and wb20

Was the iodine low or elevated? I’m thinking low??

Low, to be honest its the one thing that I haven’t yet been able to peg. Manganese was a bit elevated on the last ICP but nothing to sound the alarms about

I think I will just follow my eyes with iodine dosing going forward, too much and my pink lemonade gets a greenish hue to it
