Are any of you using the above mentioned salt, if so how long have you been using it and are you or have you experienced any issues. I am not talking about low Alk or the like. I am trying to resolve an issue by process of elimination and want to hear your experiences.

I moved over to Brightwell from Red Sea about 6 months ago. My tank is no longer angry after every water change. Love it!

I can say that it is one of the salts World Wide Corals sells in for there premixed saltwater. I think they only have 3 giant things with water and one is RODI. So if they use/sell Brightwell salt that's got to mean something.

I also am thinking about making the switch and use red sea pro. Diffrences?

I have had a better experience with this Brightwell Neomarine. This is just opinion. I used a handful of other salts, some may or may not have caused issues but I started to get better levels and just happier with everything when I switched to Brightwell. Not to mention the stuff mixes clear very fast and I have never had an issue with different batches of it. Its also very close to NSW levels.

I've used Brightwell NeoMarine for years and have had no issues with consistency

I have been using Brightwell for about a year now. My tank was doing really well and in about July of last year I started loosing some large colonies of established sps. Some of the colonies "bleach" out virtually over night, some start bleaching then stop for a short while and then completely go, other colonies are totally unaffected. I am at a loss for what could be causing this. The only thing that has changed is the salt I am using. I personally don't think that, that is the issue, but am at a loss right now,so trying to see if anyone else has had issues.

if the salt you where using before and a big change in elements compared to the Brightwell it could have shocked them??? Brightwell is nearly made to NSW levels. I think it has a lot lower ALK and etc than some other salts like red sea coral and stuff. I believe Brightwell mixes at 8dkh and 400 calc.

Switched to Brightwell in February after using Reef Crystals for 12+ Years. No issues to report other than a heck of a lot less crud collecting in my mixing bins.

ICP test would help, not just salt, but RO make up water.

Had an ICP test done did not show anything unusual, my phosphate was a little high when the test was done.
