Can I ask if this 2 part has got to be dosed in equal amounts or can you dose more of the Reef code B Alkalinity ! ask because iv got new tank and no coral yet but the Alkalinity still drops 0.6 dkh in 6 days" calcium stops 410ppm and mag at 1365 ppm

is brightells a good easy to use 2 part? This and seachem fusion are only 2 parts I can get in the UK

did think about just using red sea foundations Alk and calcium and just use the magnesium when wonted"

im using red sea blue bucket salt

thanks

Brightwell is fine but do not use their instructions for how often to dose. Dose according to your testing.

It doesn't really matter which you do.

0.6 dKH would only correspond to only about 8 ppm calcium, which you won't be able to easily detect with most hobby kits. At that addition rate, I'd dose both. Once you do detect a drop, you'll probably find you need to dose about as much as if you'd dosed all along.
