My frag tank went through a rapid salinity drop a few months ago causing most of my zoas to lose their color. Since then I've noticed slow improvements in some of my zoas but anything with red (Goblin on fire, bbeb and Emerald on fire) are still not showing any signs of getting their color back. I have put some of the zoas in my 2 month old nano and the reds are coming right back.
I've got plenty of nutrients. Nitrates at 14 and phosphates at . 08

Alkalinity 7.8
Calcium 430
Magnesium 1360

I did an icp test 2 months ago which told me there were a lot of metals in the water such as chromium but found the cause and ran poly filter.

Has anyone had anything like this happen to their zoas or know what would be causing the colour not to return.
This is a 1 and a half year old tank but the nano is only a couple of months old yet zoas color up like crazy in the nano.

Keep in mind this is with a filter and to the eye these reds aren't even visible

Yes dose potassium as per icp test recommendations but don't dose anything in the nano and the colors come back in there
