A lot appeared out of no where and I have not added anything in a while.

Maybe I’m looking at the wrong thing but it kinda looks like Dino or Cyanobacteria. Especially considering you said a lot appeared out of no where

Is that what i see on phone screen? It looks the presence also of dino. If you can break it up with gentle blast from a turkey baster, likely dinoflagellates

It's a spaghetti worm, your seeing tentacles coming out of the sand bed. They are an excellent member of the clean up crew. There is no dino or cyano either

I had a spaghetti worm on my new zoa frag the other day. Even tried to kill it off before realizing what it was lol didn’t kill it but it looks pretty cool
