So I'm night watching the beginnings of my reef, just CUC and a couple hitchhiker bristle worms then right before my eyes this worm stretches across a cavity in the rock straight to a tuft of some gha and wolfed it down. The rock this happened on is the first rock to get ahead of the algae just a few streamers of the algae remaining and is starting to look great so I'm thinking the worms are a significant part of the GHA removal crew?
God I love reefing!!

Here he is right before I knew what it was about to do.

I saw some of my small bristleworms eating the diatoms growing on my glass the other day. Blew my mind. Not pictures of the little buggers in the act, but these clean spots were made by bristleworms.

Honestly the search function on R2R isn’t amazing. Using old threads would save a lot of time if they showed up better. This is a good example. I’ve been trying to learn more about bristle worms lately so it’s nice I found this!
