Just hoping for a quick confirmation that this is a bristle worm. Found it while aquascaping my new tank with the rock from my last tank. Came crawling right out. My understanding is that the are beneficial.
Thanks in advance

Its a common bristleworm and although not welcomed in my tanks and regarded by many as clean up crew.

Thanks for the quick reply’s guys. First hitchhiker I have found
May I ask why you don’t like them in your tank?

You meant dont. . . . At nearly 4 decades, I don't generally keep what I never put in my tanks but about 4 years ago letting a couple remain, I did a tank transfer and found about 30 of them with two at about 14 inches. From that point i find them - I chuck them but haven't seen any since 2019

I don't let them in my tank because I find them unsightly and I do not want to get poked by them.
