Some people like them in the reef and some people remove them.

I pull those big guys. I get hit too much. The little ones I do not mind. First it looked like bristle worm, then close up more like a fire worm. Do not under any circumstances get hit by a fire worm. I have been, not a fun few weeks.

Still probably a good bristle worm, not fireworm.
 
It’s good ..
but as mentioned do not touch with bare hands .

Their population and size solely depends on available food in the system .
 
That looks like a fireworm, and those eat corals. Bad guys. Remove.
