Hi everyone,

Recently came home to what seems like a bristle worm killing my peppermint shrimp. Could have been my blood shrimp but i saw the the bristle worm next to it:

Now, i recently got a ruby red dragonette and am wondering if i should be worried about the bristle worm killing him?

Ive been trying to find the bristle worm but have been unsuccessful.

Bristle worm was just cleaning up. Either a molt gone wrong or possibly the other shrimp. They can be territorial. I wouldn't worry about the ruby as long as you have the food for him [emoji4]

Agreed, a Bristleworm is not capable of killing a healthy shrimp nor a healthy fish. If you're not overfeeding a tank than Bristleworms should be a concern.
