Neither bristleworms nor fireworms kill fish; they will eat dead fish. I consider true bristleworms to be valuable members of my cuc, so good find imho.

bristle worms do not kill they are scavengers like buzzards

Can you tell if this is bristle Vs fireworm? I’ve read bristles are fine and fireworms will cause problems down the road
