help i have an infestation of bristle worms. how do i get rid of them? they seem to be eating some of my coral. i've been catching them with frozen shrimp in a media sock

Manual removal is the only way to get rid of them. Reduce the amount of food you put in your tank. Are you sure you want to get rid of them? They are very beneficial to your tank as part of the CUC. I've never seen one eat coral.

Bristleworms eat dead tissue. If you are seeing them "eating" your corals, chances are the coral was already dead or dying. I would never remove bristleworms from my tank.

How about bigger ones? Quite fat and like 6-7 inches are they also good for the tank?
I used to overfeed and removed about 4 huge ones from the tank, quite scary but on the other hand I feel kinda guilty becsuse they got that big because of me they are in another tank where right now I have nothing but some live rock in. What to do with them... lol maybe im sounding really stupid right now.

You sure they are eating the coral or eating left over food? Usually like ppl said above they are only eating dead tissue. They are very benificial to your system. If you have a sump through the big ones in there.
