Is this just a bristle worm?

I found it in my invert QT tank about 45 days after adding a couple corals and some hermit crabs. The corals were dipped twice and I didn't notice anything coming off of them during the dip.

What are the odds of there being more worms and/or eggs to deal with?

Yes, that is a bristleworm. Chances are good there are more. They are good at hiding and usually come out at night. The good news is they are not something to worry about.

That is a Fireworm not Bristleworm. Not good get rid of it!

I got rid of it earlier. How do you tell the difference? It seems likely that there may be more in my invert QT. How do I eliminate them?

They sell traps on amazon. You can also feed and they tend to come out. You can grab tweezers and manual remove as well.

There are two types of fireworms. The most common one has bright white bristles and red gill tufts down each side. The other, less common type, has red tips on the bristles and two white stripes down the center of it's back. I don't see any of that in the pics you posted.

Since it's an invert QT I assume there is not much food in there. Google bristleworm trap. They're very easy to make. Or you could dip your corals again.
