There was an episode of flukes last week and treated the tank with Prazi. Running an air stone in the sump to help oxygenate. The week before bristletooth appeared dull in color and was not eating as much. Also treated the fish with Metroplex in hopes of staving off additional infections. Rock work is all cemented so will be extremely difficult to catch and put in a hospital tank. Any idea what disease this is?

If you had flukes a week ago and still have them, chances are - you never finished but actually just started
Treatment which is one initial dose for an eight day period, water changed and one more dose for eight days
You will have to start the clock again

Can you provide a closer pic as I see other than flukes all over the fish
I’m sending this over to @Jay Hemdal

Hey thanks guys for your prompt responses. I really appreciate it! Dosed Prazi on Tuesday but Foxface was covered in flukes this morning. Apparently my dosage wasnt strong enough. Did 50% water change two days after. Dosed a heavier treatment of Prazi this morning and the flukes fell off the foxface almost immediately. Will do 50% water change again in 48 hours and continue to monitor. All the fish are eating with exception of the bristletooth.

Restart at dosage recommended on box at 90% of recommended and do the treatment period mentioned above

Looks like the foxface and bristletooth have bad case of ich. Was able to catch both and put in a quarantine tank. Is it safe to treat both these guys with copper?

Coppersafe or copper power at 2.5 ppm within 24 hours would be my advice.

Thank you Jay! I do have Cupramine (sp?) on hand and can start treating with copper. I have an air stone and a hang on filter going. Plus there are a couple big PVC elbows for them to hide in. I also have the Hanna checker as I have quarantined fish before. They have not been eating pellets or algae flakes or even mysis for that matter. Gonna try nori on a clip and hope they start eating something.

Here is another pic of both the foxface and bristletooth. Rpaid breathing still and neither are eating. Is this bad case of ich? They currently in copper treatment with copper at 2.0ppm.

You said you had Cupramine - that needs to be dosed at 0.50 ppm, not 2.0 ppm. Did you end up using coppersafe or copper power? Those need to be dosed at 2.5 ppm.
Jay

I have Cupramine and I have adjusted the dosage. I gave them both a freshwater dip and they look a lot better after that. Thanks again Jay for the reply!

OK so new development. Yellow tang is still in the display tank but wasnt exhibiting any symptoms. Today I noticed some tissue missing from the outer gill areas. May be hard to see in the pics but definitely some tissue loss. This a result of flukes or is this something else?

Oh - when dosing copper, you need to medicate all fish in the system and leave the tank fallow for a period of time. If you don't the disease issue can continue to simmer. In almost 100% of the cases, anything that copper will treat will spread to the other fish. It is possible that copper wasn't the correct treatment here, but if it was, you need to treat all of the fish.
