Is this good or bad? Found in my chaeto.

Wow, you've had your tank for over a year and only just started seeing bristle worms now? Must be doing something right. But I heard they are totally fine. I had an explosion about 4-5 months in when I over populated too quickly and prob over fed or taxed by system too much. They come and go as their food source increases and decreases. If too much, then you're prob feeding too much. To find out if too much, I'd suggest shining a flashlight into some LR at night and see if it totally covered. Otherwise, should be fine.

I bayer dip all new corals, I got the chaeto full of pods and such a while ago from another feeder so I’m guessing it came in on that. Haven’t seen any at night on my rocks.

No, they don't overrun tanks unless you overfeed over a long period of time. You should be fine

That would be my problem, lol.
How often should I feed if I am overrun with them?
Thanks
Well, that depends on the fish you have. But if they are overrunning, you are definitely overfeeding. maybe try half the amount per feeding? Fish always look hungry when you walk in front of the tank, doesn't mean you should feed them. In the wild, they are opportunistic feeders, so they are pretty much always in search of food.

The bristle worms pretty much die off on their own (or even eat each other from what I've been told though that sounds like a myth), but if you have really big ones, you can try to remove them. But that's a pain from my experience. good luck!
