So yesterday I noticed what appears to be a bristle worm about 2" long, I recently purchased snails and hermits from my lfs my best guess is he hitched a ride in a snail shell if that's even possible lol my biggest concern is he going to become a problem I have lps and softies for the most part coral wise (biocube 32) this is the first one I've seen and I'm constantly checking my tank for odd or out of place things

Good scavenger and detritus feeder. I’d keep him.
I will most likely mainly because they’re so hard to catch lol, but I’ve heard they munch on corals that I dont know is true or not however

Fresh cull!

The long one was at least 6–7 “ long, heading to worm trap, easy to get with water movement and brine shrimp net

Okay, first thing to know, bristle worms are good! They are a very important member of your CUC. They will never eat healthy living animals, corals or otherwise. Their numbers are a direct result of available food. Every single reef tank in the history of reefing has bristle worms, had bristle worms or will have bristle worms. They pose no harm to fish, shrimp, crabs, corals, anemones, etc….. I really wish that the powers that be here on R2R and other forums would post a sticky in every single category that states “bristle worms are good, please leave them be”. Bristle worms are vital to any healthy reef, artificial or natural. It’s probably one of the biggest ongoing myths in this hobby that bristle worms are bad or will eat your fish, coral, etc.
Sorry for my extremely large soapbox, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen someone post about bristle worms in a negative way (not saying this is the case here), but I’m just trying to pass on actual truthful knowledge about these little amazing members of the CUC. I’ll also add this, if you had a fireworm in your tank, it would be the only thing left in your tank. It’s kinda like bobbit worms, you would know if you had one. Sorry OP, your bristle worm is fine and you probably have a lot more than you can see, please enjoy them! Cheers!
