About a month or so ago, my brittle starfish dropped its leg. I had to do some quick moving around of my rock work and accidentally grabbed the starfish's leg. The end result was the starfish dropping its leg. Slowly, the starfish has been regrowing its leg.

Nice shot! Also I have found they will eat there own legs if not getting enough food. This seems to hold them over till thy find food and can regroup them. Ours did this and wasn't sure why then notice it's legs pulled up under itself and in its mouth. We started feeding it and within a few weeks all grown back! Amazing what these creatures can do for survival!

It is waiting for its nightly meal to be fed to him. It eats right from the turkey baster.
