Can anyone confirm if this is a brittle starfish please and weather it's good or bad?

I'll second that. I used to have a lot of them but clearly something in my tank enjoyed the snack. They are good little cleaners.

Are Cool, I have a few and a few big ones. Just got a new tank and 50kg of live rock it came with a ton of bristle worms on it are they good and do they sting?

Well both! Yes they can sting you or even a fish, but as long as they don't get really large, they are generally considered good cleaners to have.
Personally, I don't like them because I have my hands in my tank way too often but that is just me.

Ok thanks, they are only in a 90ltr tank while the rock is curing for 8 weeks or so when it come to the DT I'll more than likely take them out! Like you I have my hands in my tanks probably too much hahaha

Brittle stars can sting? I've probably picked thousands of them up and I've never felt any pain. That's a new one for me.
