Bro what’s wrong with my clownfish

bro just got a new clownfish a couple days ago and paired him up with a much larger fish (he has egg crate he can hide behind - where the larger fish can’t get to him) they seem to have no altercations. He submits of course immediately. The large clownfish shows no interested in him

The tail on the fish turned clearish this evening . Never seen this before. What does this mean ? What do I do ? Thank you - make my fish healthy again !

Is the fish in a QT?

You say the tail is clear, is it slimy or look like skin peeling off?

Just got both fish Monday so they are in qt together , no meds just fresh salt water .
The tail was white this morning now it’s transparent purpleish looking ?

Sounds more like a fast infection. Do you have any kanaplex, metroplex, furan 2, or any antibiotics?

Horrendously deadly, fast-acting infevtions are everywhere these days it’s really sad...

I have kanaplex and metroplex focus
I’ll mix some into the food right now
No furan2
Only other one I have is neoplex

Don’t mix it in to the food, it won’t help. It’ll need to be in the water column.

Still no changes with kannaplex metroplex and focus
Applied in the water and the food
Nothing has spread
Color hasn’t darkened up much?


Could this be just stress from the new clownfish ?
