Broke Curve 7 Elites PSK 600 Help....

Ok I’ll try not to vent but I bought a Bubble Magus Curve 7 Elite from an auction site, Pieces of the Ocean....it wasn’t listed as broken and when contacted they admitted it was tested but not looked over, he said it turned on. Anyways they offered free shipping on future order, big whoop to do. This was the second time they screwed me. It worked but would stop intermittently when I was testing it to figure its basics out so I had an idea before throwing into a sump. I took it apart and the PSK 600 mounts are broke so the motor is just hanging or sitting there. The Bubble Magus site is no help... Anyone ran into this or got an idea I don’t have all the parts so putting it back together is not an option. It looks like it could be 3D printed if I had one. Thanks for any help or advice.

I only for one of the 4 hooks that hold the pump too the mount.

Return it - why deal with the headache and go find another one. If you bought with PayPal just file a claim there that the item came not as described and they will be liable for the shipping back.

The Bubble Magus site is no help... Anyone ran into this or got an idea I don’t have all the parts so putting it back together is not an option.

Since you don't have all the pieces you can't glue it back together.
I would call them back and insist on a refund.
I would also to to their forum here on R2R and start a thread requesting help.
There is also the feedback forum to further getting help.
Tag them in all threads.
Paypal might also help.

I got it from an auction site and they won't take it back, Pieces of the Ocean is where I got it from and they sold it for someone and tested it but didn't make sure it wasn't broke. There was also no disclaimer that anything was wrong with it. This is funny as I was searching late last nite and fell asleep but had located a site with this part. Just remembered when this post got bumped and found it again ist called Sea Side Aquatics, thought id check out its social media before making a purchase just to make sure they are active and it's still a good site. When I click on the FB link it takes me to Bubble Magnus. So even though the Bubble site has no replacement parts I stumbled upon a site that does. So got to kick in a bit more money but looks like ill get her going after all. The wrong color also going to clash..=(

Seaside Aquatics is a legit site. Usually see them at the local events here in So Cal.

The mount is not broken that’s how it comes. Is there clips on both pieces? I can’t tell from the picture.

As long as you are ok with having to buy additional parts to make it work, I guess it's over.
But if it were me I would contact them here in their forum and have them make you happy and let everybody see how they handle ( or don't) things.

If you had the 3 broken legs you could easily glue them on with some weldon16. Maybe try to contact seaside aquatics. Or check the 3d printing forums here. Im sure someone can print one for you.

I talked to the site “Pieces of the Ocean” and they refused to do anything but give me free shipping on future orders. I’m not happy with the end result at all.

I ended up ordering the part from Seaside Aquatics, it’s white so won’t match but will fix the skimmer so that is good and I’m not sure if the part will even be noticeable anyways.

It will be. I just checked mine. The black blends in well with the grey pump. You will notice the part but the skimmer will be kicking but so who cares? In time you might get use to it.
