So my rock fell over and snapped a 1 inch branch off my 4 inch sized piece. The main piece is fine but the thing snapped off. Will it be ok? Also do i have to dip it?

You'll be fine glue to a rock and you'll have two pieces. Mine did the same thing. Both peices growing beautifully.
Didn't dip just glued and moved on.

Or if you really want to, you can superglue the broken piece back on. Otherwise, glue it somewhere else as mentioned.
