Broken elegance

Hey all,
I was at a local guys place today and was picking up a awesome looking elegance and a couple other things. So, I'm holding the 3 bags in one hand and paying him with the other then for some reason the bag with the elegance in it slips out of my hand and his the concrete floor. We pick it up and the bag is leaking as we are transferring it to a new bag we notice the skeleton is broken. When I get it home I notice it was actually broken in 2 places all the way. I was thinking of cutting it while it's broken but, I don't know if it can be done and I'm not really set up for fragging yet. I put it in the tank and it is opening up which I guess is a good sign. Is there anything I need to do for it or just leave it alone. I just read where some people crack the skeleton and let then separate naturally. For me that would be the best case scenario I think. Any advise would be appreciated.

Here are some pics. The first one is what out looked like shortly after I got it home, the second one is the next day and it looks like it's noticeably splitting, I fed it and when it retracted you can definitely see where the flash is separating. I think I may have gotten lucky and may end up with 3 pieces out of the deal. I read somewhere that it is common to frag them by taking a chisel to creak the skeleton and the flesh will separate. It opens up and looks good.

looks like you fragged it...me, I wouldn't feed it until it heals up a bit.
Elegance have a reputation of going down hill for no apparent reason...
