So I’m looking at my tank and see what looks like a shell on the sandbed... nope... broken prop off my MP 40. Anyone else ever have a blade just snap off? Seriously frustrating.

Less than a year, mine broke off and flew across the tank. ecotech replaced mine, it broke at the 11 months.

That's a bummer. I've had a few nicks out of the leading edges of the props, but nothing like that.

Just looked up my purchase date: September 7, 2017. Just outside warranty... typical. Sigh.
Call ecotech, i know its outside the warranty, but they have great customer service, i had an mp40 break a year outside the warranty i sent the unit to them tobe repaired and they gave me a brand new one, only thing i had to pay was shipping

I agree with Pete. Call ETM.
I've had stuff replaced outside of the warranty date.
Be polite and don't demand anything. Just explain what happened and see what they offer.

Welp... Another praise for Ecotech. Replacing the wetside under warranty terms even though it's outside the 1 yr warranty date. I'll receive shipping info as soon as it ships.
I was just honest, answered all their questions, and provided a pic of the broken pump with proof of purchase and they were more than willing to accommodate.
