broken seal on seachem phytoplankton?

I have ordered two separate orders of seachem phyto plankton but the seals keep coming broken. would you use them or toss the bottle?

I am thinking tossing is probably the best option but want to know how safe it would be to use.

I would toss them just to be safe. Look for another distributor. For phytoplanton buy from copepods.com or 'OceanMagic' from alageBarn.com. Never had broken seals from them.

When it comes to something like this, it's best to reach out to the manufacturer (Seachem). Since it's their product and they've been selling it for a long time, they will have all the answers you need. I'm sure they will be responsive in a timely manner.

messaged sea chem today, They say it is fine to use apparently.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out!

I apologize for the problem you've had here! This was an issue with a sealer being overheated and essentially burning the foil seal. The product inside is perfectly fine to use however.
