44 days fallow at 78degrees in a 15 gal. planning on getting UV and keeping fishless until 54 days. Should this be enough? should I go till 61 days or longer?

Should be enough. 6 weeks is the recommended, so you already are exceeding that!

Being a ciliate parasite , go the 45 day period with uv unit then siphon surfaces prior to restock

sorry, I mistated, I am at 37 days, so not yet ready. Would 46-48 days be okay for a conservative fallow length in a small tank?

dealing with uglies (new tank) so everything is already being basted every other day and siphoned weekly
