Clown has had a white sheen to it. If he’s touched it does rub off. Could it be brookynella?

Evidence of Brook usually starts near the head as the parasites attack the gills. Have you noticed any labored, quick breathing or gasping for air at the surface?

We used to use Formalin to treat Brook, but that stuff is a nasty known carcinogen that can shorten the fish's life span. Gloves, googles, and extreme care when using.
A better option is to give the fish a bath in Ruby Reef Rally. The acriflavine in RRR should take care of the Brook in a very gentle way.
Other options are to treat with Metroplex.

He doesn’t seem any different than any other clown fish. No heavy breathing, no air gulping. I’ll give it a few more days and see what happens. He’s had this white sheen to him for a week already.

The other possibility for a white sheen is a bacterial infection. A bacterial infection is usually a "secondary" infection to some other actor: injury, parasites (like Brook), water quality, etc.
Brook can be a very quick killer.

Water quality looks fine. I’m going to the lfs tomorrow to se did I can get anything. It’s hard to get anything decent in Canada anymore.

I found some praxipro and metro. I’m going to buy it next week to keep around. They said it’s all they will
Have till
It runs off the shelf. How safe is that stuff to put in the tank.
