Broomtail wrasse patches

Hi could anyone give me an idea what these are? They are in the stomach of wrasse. He is still eating but laying around more than usual. Thanks

Sorry but it looks from the pictures that your wrasse has a bacterial infection. Best to setup a QT and treat with antibiotics + vitamins. Give the fish a 60-90 minute "bath" in Ruby Reef Rally on its way to the QT. In the QT, treat with antibiotics for 10-14 days and then observe. Antibiotics are very slow acting on fish. That's why I recommend the RRR bath and vitamins.
Antibiotics like Kanaplex, Furan2, NFG powder, Sulfaplex can help. If need be treat with the "trifecta" of Kanaplex + Furan2 + Metro, it covers a very broad area of bacterial infections.
Add Beta Glucan with the fish's food. It's a huge boost to the fish's immune system. Here's an article on BG.

Ok Thanks for your reply. I noticed the small one towards his face about a week ago but i though he scratched himself during feedings because he just charges into things during feedings!!! Also thought it might be lymph which is usually on the side fins. Wow i am in a tough spot he is about 11 inches and i already have a new fish in my QT!! ughh Another QT my wife is going to kill me!!! I have been feeding him pellets with focus, gc and vitamins in case it was internal parasites. In !5 plus years i have not seen patches like this on body??? Any other input would be appreciated!!! Thanks

Dosing antibiotics in a bath is often very effective method. Here's Humblefish 's dosing antibiotics. Cipro makes a very effective 1 hour bath.

Hi, I have kanaplex, GC, neoplex and focus. Which one would be a good one to soak on pellets? The last few days I have been using GC and vitamins. Do you guys think it would an effective course of action? Thanks again! I really appreciate your help.
