Brought home 75 gallon tank

Looks good[emoji106] get some pics up of the tank when your sorted[emoji4]

I'll post pictures as I add things. I'll add a few things tonight hopefully. I haven't had a chance to go to the pet store. I actually have an account with a distribution but I have a $150 minimum. At $150 you could but a lot and I don't want to put too much in at once

I would leave it for another week and test again but if you do get some livestock I would get a blue green chromis and see how that goes you don't want to waste money and life of a fish or coral for nothing

If that's the same coral from the pic before it look like a daisy star polyp

The new coral seems to be doing much better just from being in the tank over night

This tank def has a bad case of green hair alage. It was a lot worse at my customers. You couldn't even see into the tank. It has got a lot better over the last week since I've had it. The front is almost completely clear and the back is about half gone. I put 6 snails in yesterday. Hopefully they help a little. My customer had the tank in front of a bunch of Windows that were open. I'm sure that did not help. I have the tank in the corner of a room.

I would stay away from that one. Look at bulk reef supply. They have a bunch of systems ranging from simple RO to more complex systems. The RO buddy is not going to work for the amount of water you will need, you will have to replace filters all the time.

Thanks. I wish I kept my last one! Unfortunately I sold everything when I sold the tank.

Does anyone know how much room is needed from the tank to the wall for a refugium? I'd like to add one. I have just over 6" from the back of the tank to the wall.

I assume you are talking about a hang on refugium. I'd look on line and see how wide they are. Could you put one in your sump?

I was talking about a hang on one. I don't think there is room in the sump. I will take a picture of it once I get home and we what you guys think.

Picked up a goby and a yellow tang (new name lion, my 4 year old gave the name). I also grabbed a mushroom coral. What are your thoughts on placement.

I have that exact sump. I just took the balls out, the white middle piece out, and put in live sand, rock and my macro algae plus carbon and some crabs and snails

I'd rather do the hang on on too that way I can have more than two things running for filtration.
