Brown Algae and No Coral Growth

So for quite some time now my vitals have seized to grow and brown algae is appearing within 2 days of siphoning. I have a 45 gallons tank with HOB fluval filters and a current marine orbit led light. The only thing I really changed was to go from two chemipure filters (one in each HOB) to one.
I use to run the lights for 10-12 hours cut it back to 6 then 8 but the algae continues to grow. I just ordered chemipure media for both filters going this will do the job.
Could this be a phosphate issue? People keep telling me it’s the lights but I had them on for longer before without the proliferation of algae.

Welcome to R2R and thanks for signing up! Can you post your parameters as well as a full tank shot of your setup? The problem may lay in your lighting as the current marine lights are not known to be that powerful unless you use multiple units. Is it the PRO version or the standard?

Hell Fellas,

I’ll pull parameters tomorrow. I’ve heard orbits can lack power but I don’t think it’s the issue because the coral were all doing great with the same lights before. The algae has been an issue for about the last 3 months. I’ve had the tank for about 11 months. There are two HOB fluval filters. I had one with carbon and one with chemical pure. I just went back to checkpure elite to see if phosphates is the problem. Here is a photo of the tank and I did my best to mark coral locations.
