Brown algae Issue. What could cause this?

I have had my tank running for about 7-8 months and when I have my light on throughout the day then shut it off at night, turn it back on in the morning then come home that day and the glass on my tank will have a brown haze to it. What would cause this?

All kinds of stuff.

New tank. High phosphates high nitrates silicates. Lots of stuff.

How old is the tank. What are your parameters at.
Are you using rodi water?
There's usually pretty easy soloutions.
