Brown algae like slime

Anyone know what this could be?
It’s all over rocks and sand. Hard to siphon out as it seems heavy. Doesn’t break apart. Almost like dinoflagellates without the air bubbles, very slimy and flows like algae. Looks sort of filamentous

Looks kinda like a bacterial slime that was in a friends tank.
