Hey y’all
Question about my light intensity
My lights are 70% both blues when at maximum uv is 40% maximum white is at 30% maximum and red/green is at 5% maximum. They run from 8am to 9pm. I have a 75 gallon tank with 2 k7 pro lights above the water about 12 inches. My water level height is about 18 inches. I have sps and lps corals I also have a haddoni carpet anemone. Since I have installed the lights my sand and glass and rocks are getting a light coating of brown algae and my anemone pulled up out of the sand and has not been happy it has moved nearer to my rocks and won’t put its foot back into the sand. So what I’m asking are my lights too intense?? My corals are doing good. Thanks in advance for all y’all’s help with this.

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
Phosphate 0
Ph 8
Alk 9.6
Calcium 420
Mag 1400
Salinity 1.025

Just did a monthly 25% water change Monday these readings were from yesterday
Also I only feed my 6 fish once a day and my corals 2x a week (reef energy, and Reef Roids) my fish get mysis or brine shrimp.
I only use rodi water and test every time for tds which is reading 0.

My pictures are blue because I don’t have a filter for my phone so y’all wouldn’t be able to see anything

Sounds like the lights are new? Sounds like your tank equilibrium has just been thrown off a little by a change in par or light spectrum. Probably effecting the anemone as well. I would just ride it out. Anemone will eventually find a place where it is happy. If you keep seeing an increase in algae growth you probably would want to up the amount of snails you have to balance it out.

Yea just got the new lights about 3 or 4 weeks ago The old lights I had were current usa and it just wasn’t good enough for corals but these lights are great. So there is a big difference in my lights
