Hello, so i have a 72 gallon reef running for roughly a year. I have been conquered a couple ages problem thus far. Starting with a heavy brown algae, Invested in Brs 6 stage RODI. Though i was good, then came they cyno or red algae, treated it with some then invested in phosphate reactor, problem 95% solved. Sometime within the last two weeks something is brewing in tank. I have this light haze brown algae all over my glass when i get home from work, i scrub off and it seems to come back in a few hours. Everyday the same, I am also noticing the water is crystal clear like norm it has a bit of a haze when i look from end to end of the tank, not crazy dirty by any means. I just did my weekly 10 % water change yesterday. Still same when i got home. I turned to my cheap starter eshopps psk 75 skimmer. I pulled it out cleaned etc, not just cup the pump this time. I do seem to notice quite a bit tiny water bubbles exiting simmer in sump traveling to refugium and back up to tank. I have also started to dose my tank per red sea ABC requirements along with reef foundation test kit ( So much better than API imo ). I only started now as my tank begins to age and tired of corals not growing figured just the the red sea pro salt wasn't supplying enough trace elements as my collection grows. Which seemed to be the case so started with the dosing. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated, Thanks!
