Brown Algae

Brown algae is starting in my tank, I have 2 Clowns, Royal Gramma, 3 small Damsels, small Regal Tang and a Cleaner Shrimp, 4 Softie Corals, do I need to do anything or just let it run its course? Obviously still do my weekly water changes.

is this a new tank? If so, likely diatoms. Part of the process.

Yes its about 6 weeks old

Let it run course. You will see plenty of uglies along the way.

Reducing light timers will help with diatoms.

Thanks mate do I need to clean it off rocks and sand bed or just completely leave it be? I just scrape glass atm

It will just come back. Your first 6 months will be all kinds of different color algae. Just expect it and keep an eye on livestock to make sure they look healthy
